From time to time I look at the Johnson Banks Thought of the Week blog, and there is was the new (horrible) Ravensbourne logo, I was thinking oh how odd they have mentioned the logo, I wonder hope they came across it, then i realised they designed it! The identity overall is good but the logo looks like there has been no consideration put into it at all. Splitting up the word Ravensbourne into Raven-sbou-rne is totally pointless and does not add anything to the design, it makes it harder to read.
This the responses on this blog sum it up really, the logo just isn't what people like, and seems a shame that they have decided to use any of the design students at the college to come up with ideas instead they have paid a design company to do the work for them.

Unsurprisingly facebook groups and parodies of the logo have been popping up around the place, its like the 2012 Olympic logo saga all over again.

Feel Good Drinks
These are the images I entered to the YNC competition for Feel Good Drinks promoting Fruit not sugar, I came up with two types of designs, firstly these cut out typography and fruit ones, which are bold use a colour scheme to reflect the types of fruit in each drink. And secondly the fruit people photos, where i have created characters using fruit and used humour to communicate with the audience.
